The West Settlers Neighborhood is one of the oldest settlements in Delray Beach. Pioneers from North Florida, the Bahamas, and the Gullah Geechee coast came to Delray in the 1800s and 1900s seeking a safe place to build their American lives and raise their children. On this tour, you will hear stories of some of those pioneers and their contributions to Delray Beach.
Reservations are required.
The walking tour is a 1 hour walk around the West Settler's Historic District where you will hear the stories of some of Delray's Black pioneers.
