Description
Did you know that Pirates Cove Playground is filled with an amazing assortment of equipment for your kids to let their imagination run wild! Some of the playground features include:
- a huge Pirate Ship heading out to sea accompanies by a spring-mounted dolphin and seahorse for the little mates to ride on
- a water adventure island complete with rocks and cargo nets for climbing
- the island has 3 turning cannons that shoot water while the ship's mast and palm trees shower the kids with more water
- there are sling swings and a tire swing plus a slide climbing station and swings for toddlers ages 2-5
And, there is the Electronic Playground combining the excitement of digital gaming with outdoor play. Kids will have a blast trying all four stations.
- SPACE is an exciting race to beat the clock in four dynamic games testing player’s agility, memory, and speed. LED flashing Game Nodes are placed at strategic positions around the structure with the Game Controller setting the stage. Hit the lighted nodes as fast as you can, using teamwork to your advantage.
- SWIRL is all about speed, focus, and agility. Three different games will challenge players of all levels and abilities. The trick is to control the spinner and not let it control you. The nodes are activated by turning the Spinners, and players have to hit them first and fast to win.
- NOVA has three games to test your balance and muscle power. Players have to control the speed and direction of the ring and that calls for speed, quick reflexes, and constant strategy. Gamers can play against the Nova or compete in teams.
- ROCKY can also be played alone or in teams. Three unique games will require everything from raw strength and power to fine-tuned balance. Rocky reads the angle and direction of the platform, so players influence the games with every movement of their body.

The water is on from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, weather permitting, as long as the temperature is above 72 degrees. Start the water feature by pressing the silver button on top of the green post activator (it looks like a green fire hydrant) the water will run for 10 minutes, and then shuts off until someone touches the activator button again.
The playground is a bouncy, cushioned, poured-in-place surface. Please, no cleats or heels.
There are restrooms and picnic tables on the playground for your convenience. These picnic tables cannot be reserved but are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. These may be affected by current COVID-19 policies. Their use may be restricted or limited.
