This “labor of love” is a timeless collection of original poems I created to guide young children and parents through “scary” and often traumatic first experiences. This book is not just a children’s book. It is also a teaching tool for parents. We have all been there, and sometimes we have to see through the eyes of a child to help them become confident adults. From losing a first tooth, experiencing a first haircut, night frights, potty training, or the first day of school, I hope these beautifully illustrated poems will bring comfort to parents and a smile to children and encourage them to Be Brave.
