Friends Of The Library Promote Local Legacies

By Mitchell Pellecchia January 15, 2020

Be a part of Parkland history. Add a personalized "helping handprint” with a donation to the Legacy Wall in the Children’s Wing of the Parkland Library—a center of culture and distinction.

"The Library will have a Legacy Wall where people can make their mark by placing their hand prints on a tile which will be beautifully displayed inside the Library for years to come,” Friends President, Kathy Kestler.

The Parkland Friends of the Library continue on a path of preserving history. Established in 1992, the mission of the organization is "to promote and support the services of the library and to build a strong relationship between the library and the community,” per the Friends website.
