Meet a Mother Like No Other.
A grumpy bear.
A case of mistaken identity.
And four adorable goslings.

In MOTHER BRUCE, written by Ryan T. Higgins, readers are introduced to Bruce—the bear who likes to keep to himself. He does not like sunshine, or cute animals, or much of anything else…except eggs. But when his hard-boiled goose eggs (procured locally, of course!) turn out to be real live goslings, he’s got more than an empty plate to worry about—especially when the goslings are convinced he’s their mother! Now Bruce is going to need to figure out how to bear this new parental load, while still making it down to the sunny south for Winter. A wildly hilarious lesson in finding friendship and a sense of family in the most unlikely of ways!

Ryan T. Higgins is an author/illustrator residing in Southern Maine. He lives with his three dogs, three cats, two geckos, one tortoise, one son, one daughter, and one wife. He has wanted to be a cartoonist since as far back as he can remember. (Actually, that’s not entirely true—he wanted to be a tiger until he was three, but, sadly, that didn't really pan out.)
