What is an occupational therapist? Here in our local town, Dr. Jenny Villalobos, works to identify and improve on a child's skills needed to help them everyday. For most children and parents, becoming better a student is key and an occupational therapist can certainly lend support to help kids.

Dr. Jenny Villalobos, OTD, OTR/L has been practicing as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist since 2005 after graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University. She earned a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2012.

While working in schools, Dr. Jenny recognized the need for handwriting tutoring now that traditional handwriting instruction is no longer being provided in our classrooms.  In 2010, she became a Certified Handwriting Specialist with Handwriting Without Tears® and in 2013 she opened Dr. Jenny's Handwriting Help serving children in the North Broward & South Palm Beach areas.  Dr. Jenny is also a local mom who resides in Parkland, FL with her husband and two daughters.
